Freelance Job
Most freelancers don't apply for a job but rather bid for projects. Work transactions are intermediated by many Internet sites, with freelancers bidding for the job ads set by buyers. Any job has a price that is closely related to the field of activity and the freelancer's experience. IT specialists, web designers, programmers and software designers have the highest income of all, while editors, copyrighters, translators and journalists make a rather moderate towards low income. No matter which is your range of activity, a job could be a ticket to freedom. Freelancing equals a form of independence: you can work from home in a stress free environment, you set the pricing and you can select what projects to take. For most jobs, you'll only need a computer with an Internet access and you'll be able to make money. So far so good! Getting a job should not be that difficult, if this is all you need. However, don't quit your job for the sake of freelancing unless you have a steady position, lots of skill and a good freelancing reputation. You can take a job as an extra activity, something you do after your regular work hours are over. By first working in the part-time

model, you can get a very fair idea about how much a job can do for you, and whether you are ready to get all independent. In case you manage just fine with a job, then, you can move on to turning it into a permanent occupation. Should you decide to work with web intermediaries, check their policy, with the terms and conditions as well as the protection they provide to freelancers in terms of payment security. One needs some payment guarantees and some legal background to have personal rights protected. The commission may be an issue that requires clarification, because for every won job, the sites charges you. Some consider the charges of jobs very high, as they sometimes reach at 15% of the contract. This may sound like a high price to pay, but when weighing the pros and cons, the intermediaries still remain a viable and valuable solution of finding jobs. There are lots of things to cover when you advertise for a job independently and not through an intermediary, and the coverage against fraud could be minimum for the occasion. Analyze all the details of each job, so that your work efforts are rewarded and the client is content.
